Summit Choral Society Board President Steve Hallam put it this way, "Before my sister died in November, she asked us to tell anyone who wanted to remember her not to buy flowers, but instead give the money to our favorite charity. That's why Terri and I asked that our gift be in memory of Cecilia. Since she was named after St. Cecilia, the patron saint of singers and music educators, it seemed fitting to remember her in this way."
